FINAL DEADLINE - August 31, 2010

The first Notification letters to students who entered our art contes HAVE BEEN mailed.  Additional notification letters will be mailed over the coming months as we find places in our book for submitted artwork.  Book reservation forms are also being mailed out.  If you choose to reserve a book now for yourself or your family, there is no charge  for doing so, and you will be under no obligation to buy a book when they are published. This will simply help us determine numbers for our first printing. 

UPDATED LIST OF SPECIES WE STILL NEED SUBMITTED:

MAMMALS: Black Bear, Grizzly Bear (yes, we know it is not native to PA, but we need one anyway!), Skunk, Opossum, Gray Fox, Beaver, Snowshoe Hare, Mink, Allegheny Wood Rat, Meadow Vole, Muskrat, Bog Lemming, Deer Mouse

BIRDS: Common Loon, Turkey or Black Vulture, Ruffed Grouse, Wild Turkey, Bobwhite, Belted Kingfisher, Northern Flicker, American Crow, Eastern Towhee, Red-breasted or White-breasted Nuthatch, Gray Catbird, Northern Mockingbird, Brown Thrasher, European Starling, Song Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, Brown-headed Cowbird, Northern Oriole, Canada Goose, Hooded Merganser, Pigeon, Ring-billed Gull, Common Tern, American Woodcock, Whip-poor-will, Chimney Swift, Belted Kingfisher, Common Raven, Eastern Phoebe, Great Crested Kingbird, Eastern Kingbird
