3rd-4th Grade Envirothon

Welcome to the 2025 3rd-4th Grade York County Envirothon!

Please complete the following steps to participate in the 2025 Envirothon:

  1. Register Your School by December 1
  2. Register Your Team(s) & Order T-Shirts by March 1
  3. Register Your Students the morning of the competition

Date: Thursday, May 15, 2025

Location: John C. Rudy County Park

Team Registration

Please submit one team registration form for each participating team. Each participating student and one coach per team will receive a free T-shirt. Extra T-shirts can be purchased on our website here.

Team Registration Deadline: March 1, 2025

Please submit the form below to register your teams for the 2025 Envirothon.

*Limit team names to four words or less (including building name). All teams at every grade level MUST have their own distinct team name.

1.) All participating team members and one coach each receive FREE t-shirts on the day of competition (3rd-4th Grade Maximum: 6 shirts; 5th-6th Grade, Middle School, and Senior High Maximum: 7 shirts). Study Session Registration

Participate in an Envirothon study session to help your team prepare for the Envirothon competition.

3rd-4th Grade Envirothon Study Session Dates:

  • Option 1: Wednesday, April 2, 2025 (4:30PM-7:30PM)
  • Option 2: Friday, April 4, 2025 (4:30-7:30PM)
  • Option 3: Saturday, April 5, 2025 (12:30-3:30PM)

Location:

  • York County Conservation District: 2401 Pleasant Valley Road, York, PA 17402

Guidelines:

  • Your students will rotate through several activity stations. Five minutes between rotations is scheduled for using restrooms or eating snacks.
  • Students must be supervised by coaches or school-approved chaperones at all times. Please inform parents or guardians to deliver their student directly to their coach or chaperone in the front lobby and pick up their student directly from their coach or chaperone in the front lobby. Do not drop a child off outside, send them in alone, or instruct them to exit the building to leave unless directly accompanied by a parent, guardian, coach, or chaperone.
  • Parents and siblings should not attend.
  • Teams may arrive up to 15 minutes early to check-in and get to your first station location. Please report how many students are attending from your group when you check-in.
  • Students and coaches are welcome to bring a snack. Please advise students to bring non-disruptive snacks.

We encourage you to only bring up to the number of students you are permitted to bring to testing day. (3rd - 4th Grade: 5 students per team) If your number of expected students drops by an entire team, please email mmckelvey@yorkccd.org to let us know.
Will you arrive late, leave early, need to start with free time, need to end with free time, or require accommodations for specific needs or mobility issues? Please let us know so we may best assist you and your team(s).

School Registration

Please submit one school registration form for each participating school.

The School Registration is your school’s “intent to participate” and is not a binding commitment. Even if you are not certain your school will be able to participate, we encourage you to submit the School Registration Form so that you continue receiving communications from the York County Envirothon in the meantime.

School Registration is now closed. If you have already submitted your School Registration, please submit your Team Registration(s) now.

If you missed the School Registration window, please email the Envirothon Coordinator and complete the Team Registration Form.
